Illustrated faceless short video from a PilotReels series

The best AI tool for faceless short videos depends on what you need. For a hands-off channel that posts on a schedule, look at AutoShorts.ai, Faceless.video and PilotReels. For Arabic narration with right-to-left captions, PilotReels is the one built for it. For one-off videos or avatar videos, InVideo AI, HeyGen and Pictory fit better.

This list covers seven tools. We make PilotReels, so we say that up front and keep our own claims to what we can show. Every competitor fact below comes from the vendor's own page, checked on 2026-10-27.

What faceless video tools do

These tools sit in three groups. The first group runs a whole channel: you pick a topic, and the tool writes, voices, illustrates and posts. The second group makes one video from a prompt or a script. The third group makes avatar or translated videos.

Ask one question before you compare prices: do you want a channel that runs on a schedule, or do you want single videos? A channel tool charges you for a pipeline. A video tool charges you for each file.

1. PilotReels

PilotReels is built around a "series". You set it up once: the topic or your own brief, the narration language or dialect, the voice, the art style, the captions and the schedule. It then writes, voices, illustrates and renders vertical 9:16 videos and posts them to YouTube Shorts, TikTok and Instagram Reels. Every series starts in manual mode: you approve each video and it posts at your next scheduled time. Turn on autopilot when you trust the series, and the schedule then posts finished videos on its own.

It is strongest in Arabic. Narration comes in Egyptian Arabic, formal Arabic (Modern Standard Arabic) and Gulf Arabic, as well as English. Arabic captions are written right to left and burned into the video. Each customer's videos are their own, so two customers do not get the same video.

It has no free plan. See the examples page for real videos in scary stories, amazing facts, history, motivation and business tips.

Plans: Starter is $19 a month for 15 videos and 1 series. Pro is $39 for 35 videos and 3 series. Agency is $109 for 100 videos and 50 series.

2. AutoShorts.ai

AutoShorts.ai is a faceless channel tool. Plans are priced by how often it posts: Starter is USD 19 for 3 videos a week, Daily is USD 39 for one a day, and Hardcore is USD 69 for two a day. Each plan has one series. The page shows TikTok, YouTube and Instagram. A free plan is listed as "temporarily paused".

Its FAQ says it supports multiple languages and lists Arabic, without naming a dialect. It is a good pick if you want low-cost, set-and-forget posting.

3. Faceless.video

Faceless.video also works in series. Starter is USD 20 (up to 15 videos and one social account), Daily is USD 35 (up to 30 videos), Double is USD 59 (up to 60) and Studio is USD 149 (up to 175). Each series posts to one account on TikTok, YouTube or Instagram. You set how often it posts, not the exact time.

If you do not review the drafts, it writes, edits and posts on its own. The site does not state Arabic support.

4. Revid.ai

Revid.ai is a wide video generator with an "Auto-Mode" and publishing to TikTok, Instagram, YouTube and X. The pricing page showed euros to us: Growth at 39 EUR with 2,000 credits, and Ultra at 199 EUR with 12,000 credits and 10 Auto-Mode workers. Credits do not roll over. It has a separate Arabic page, but that page says nothing about dialects, right-to-left captions or auto-posting.

5. InVideo AI

InVideo AI is a general editor that turns a prompt into a video. Paid plans cost USD 9, USD 30 and USD 80 per seat per month, with lower annual prices. There is no free plan. The pricing page does not mention auto-posting, series, or Arabic. Pick it for flexible one-off videos.

6. HeyGen

HeyGen makes avatar and translated videos. The free plan gives 3 watermarked videos a month. It has the longest Arabic locale list on this page: 16 Arabic locales, including Egypt, Saudi Arabia and the UAE. It does not run a posting schedule, and it is not a faceless-series tool. Choose it when you want a presenter or want to dub existing videos.

7. Pictory

Pictory turns blog posts and scripts into stock-footage explainer videos. Plans are USD 29, USD 59 and USD 199 a month, with a 14-day trial. Its Arabic voice support is limited to premium voices in one Saudi accent, and its help article says premium-voice captions are only available in Latin script. If you need Arabic captions in Arabic letters, look elsewhere.

Which one should you pick?

  • For an English channel at the lowest price, AutoShorts.ai or Faceless.video.
  • For an Arabic channel with dialect narration and Arabic captions, PilotReels.
  • For a presenter or dubbed videos, HeyGen.
  • For explainers made from articles, Pictory.
  • For flexible one-off videos, InVideo AI or Revid.ai.

Whatever you choose, read the credit and cancellation rules first. Test with the cheapest plan before you commit to a bigger one.
